My thoughts on them vary but when I think of mirror matches in general my thoughts skew more negative. This is likely due to the fact that I play characters like Bridget in Strive who can just be very annoying and zoner vs. zoner mirrors can be very dull. I also kind of get annoyed at watching them sometimes. Though that's more tied to fatigue of seeing one specific character all the time than specifically the mirror match itself.

I mained Kakyoin because he was basically Speedy Gonzales and let me zone everyone out.

Id say the most broken thing about nets is his free 50/50 oki and camping/defending. He has some of the best turtling in the game with net, if you don’t break the net/use a stand attack then you can’t pressure him at all on block, since he will get free punishes on you just as long as he blocks your attack, and can make some matchups nearly unwinnable if he gets a health lead and decides to camp your ass for the rest of the match

Tbh I’d say a good version of deejay before sf6 would be sf4 omega where deejay becomes a full on motion character, which I feel was his main problem. Most of deejay’s combos suck because you have to charge consistently mid combo for almost no reward since scaling is a bitch and deejay barely does damage in the first place. Omega deejay doesn’t have this problem as he does nice damage and again is a motion character with very safe moves

Adachi going from P4AU to BBTAG is also a considerable buff to talk about

idk if this stuff is worse than mvc2 Roll, Dan, or Servbot comparitive to the rest of the cast using any of them against a Magneto or Storm seems really bad and i don't think any of those characters were actually meant to be viable since they're all silly joke characters, Dan especially bc he's made bad on purpose in every game he's ever been in including puzzle fighter even if the others are worse bc being like 1/3 the size of a regular character. it would be interesting to see a discussion about comparisons between the worst characters in various games
